I know this guy as Witt Sigmund on Facebook. His latest email he uses is [email protected]. He is currently pestering me for money to send to him for is son who is currently in Nigeria dying of cancer. I havent sent him a dime. Im not stupid. The second he mentioned Nigeria, BOOM!! Instant scammer. Im still talking to him to get information to send to the FBI and the Army CID.
The guy has more aliases than a leopard has spots! If anyone has info please email me at xxx I have pictures of him.

As you can see above, I removed your email address from your post. It is generally not a good idea to post any email address linked to you in an open forum like this.

What you are doing (playing along with the scammer) is called scambaiting, and is not something we recommend doing with any scammer who has any of your real information. IC3 would not recommend it either, for safety reasons. We do have a website that is dedicated to baiting, 419eater.com, that addresses measures for doing so safely.

As far as the number of aliases goes—there are hundreds (probably thousands) of scammers running the same exact type of scam. Scammers can and do share formats with each other, and some will simply steal photos and scripts used from another scammer—so there is no way to know whether all of the different names and emails belong to one scammer, a gang working together, or different scammers who are just using the same photos at this point.

Update: he is now using the aliases Witt Sigmund and George Witt. Actually talked to " George" sounded 100% Nigerian. Same pics. He uses the email addresses [email protected] and [email protected]
