US Army Colonel David Robert Hall ??

Anybody know anything about a Colonel David Robert Hall in the US Army? Emails used are: [email protected] and [email protected]. He says his DOB is November 24, 1966 and he is from Cranston, Rhode Island and went to Cranston High School East. He messaged me on Facebook out of the blue one day. wow!am sure it feels good having a big brother who am sure can be over protective sometimes LOL never had the opportunity to know what it feels like having a sister,i lost both my parents when i was still tender and i am an only child after their demise my role model,friend and also father from another took me in his name is Reverend Charles Murray he really turned my life around and gave me purpose to be a better man.he is the reason i am the army today may his gentle soul rest in peace .i have served for 25 yrs now .i am a colonel and i am Responsible for battalion-size units of up to 700-plus or some times even more soldiers who are required to be trained to deploy on short notice anywhere in the world under the most difficult circumstances; employ the finest soldiers with the finest equipment throughout the world ranging from Korea to Australia to Thailand to England to Africa; ensure the leaders are the best trained, most competent, and most confident, without failure; plan for the well-being of all family members, as well as the soldiers.sometimes my job description overlaps depending on the situation on ground,i hope you have a wonderful day cheers...David

Hello Ashley am really glad getting your message and no need to be sorry it wasnt your fault they were involved in a accident i guess its all the act of God so i have made terms with the fact that we all have our own day to leave the earth all we pray is that the day never comes untimely,i have been in Fort sill base but that was in the early days of my career Fort Sill is located in Comanche County, Southwest Oklahoma, adjacent to the city of Lawton and 90 miles Southwest of Oklahoma City it was really fun when i was stationed there.i am really sorry for the distance between you and your brother it must really be hard to think you are all alone in the world when you have someone but because of his ego he turns out to be a jerk,i just hope he retraces back his steps soon.always feel free to share things with me ok i have really grown fond of you and be sure to have my shoulders if you ever need someone to talk to,do have a nice day cheers...David

Well Ashley its too bad your brother does not appreciate parental love and care which am sure he was giving by your parents i just think he ought to reciprocate that love too,i was married before but my wife is late now lost her 5yrs ago to cancer i was so devastated at that time when i lost her but i have come to terms with the fact that not everything lasts for ever so its important we make use of every opportunity before we begin to regret not been given the chance to appreciate the good things of life.i do have a lovely daughter though her name is Debbie she is gonna turn 18 next by December,i have been stationed in quite a lot of place both in and outside the U.s some of the places within home are Fort Greely in Alaska,Fort Benning.Fort Gillem,Fort Gordon Georgia,outside the U.s are Nato Airbase Geilenkirchen Germany this was one of my favorites even when i left Germany i took it upon me to buy a house there ,its really a nice sight for relaxing and get aways when i want to just chill away from work and stuff i go there.also joint force command brunssum Netherlands a whole lot of places really,i wont want to bore you too much i hope you have a stress free at work do have a wonderful day..David.

Its good we both love love what we do i myself am really honoured to serve our country,i am beginning to like you you know you love kids and that features is part of what i love in woman.i love a woman who is passionate,loving and caring and from our conversations are have no doubt you possess all these characters.Debbie is staying with my monster in law or mother in law as you may call her,i know you will be wondering why i refer to her that way but thats because of the way she has always treated me even right from when i met stacey my late wife may her gentle soul rest in peace she never gave me her full blessing and when stacey died she said so many nasty things to me .....like me been the cause of her daughters death and that she blames me everything ,well on to something else i feel sad when i remember old memories.i do love to listen to good music,travel and one best location is the Carribeans ...very nice place if you ever want to cool off,i love hiking,camping and fishing...David

100% scammer.

The English alone is a dead giveaway. The man writing to you is not American--he is African.

There are lots of other indicators besides the English. I will point out a few, though there are more,

For example, someone from a northern state like Rhode Island most certainly would NOT see the Caribbean as a place to "cool off."

When he made the typo with your name, it was because he didn't remember your name--not surprising since he is invariably trying to establish bogus relationships with several women at the same time.

The photos are stolen. Often scammers use photos from old myspace pages, facebook pages, or even photo sharing applications like photo bucket. In fact, you can see one of those photos leads to a facebook profile under another name. http://www.facebook.com/sam.kessler.969

It's also unlikely that a father would hand custody of his child over to a vindictive mother-in-law such as the (fictional) character he describes.

We do ask that you use a photo editing program to put "used by scammer" over the top of the photos, so that other scammers cannot use this website as a place to pick up new photos for scamming.

Thank you Dottie! I appreciate you helping me out. It's sad that the internet has scammers and people like this. What makes it worse I guess is that I met one of my best friends on the internet (and we eventually met in person several times and I've known her almost 10 years now!) and I know there are good people out there. You just have to trust your instinct and weed out the bad ones. I will change the pictures now to ones that say used by scammer on them.
