Hello. I was contacted by a certain David Mark Billy from OKCupid. He claims to be a Civil Engineer and a retired Project Manager for United Nations. In fact, if you google him, he has a LinkedIn profile. This person sent me pictures (old and new) of him and his family. He claims to be divorced, lived in Portugal for 10 years where his ex is from thus the weird accent on the phone. Yup, he called me too. He even chatted via YM and Viber app. He said he was born in Winchester, England and then later on, slipped and said he was born in Florida. hhhhmmm. He gave me a bogus UN link to check and verify his employment. the site is UN-Affairs.org. when i checked, this is a private domain and has no relation to the UN site. in fact, if you email the HR contact, the email will be under a Gmail address. he asked for money but i wouldn't give it. because i don't have money to give to strangers. he is a charming looking handsome man. too bad, he is not real. but just in case, i wonder if this man knew his pics are being used. i mean, even the pics of his grown up kids and his wife, even his father and mother! But when i asked for a copy of his passport, it was so photoshopped! there was no signature on the passport, the name at the bottom is different from the name on the passport . the bottom name was Patrick Woods . i guess they didn't check the details. i don't know how to post pics yet for this is my first day here. but i wish to share his pics. i even contacted UN to report this possible scam/fraud. really, who asks for money to be sent to Nigeria because he was stuck there. yeah right. so i would like to know if anyone has any experience with this guy. you can check his pic on linkedin. God bless and hope we can spread the news so people won't be scammed with their hard earned money or just waste their time. Thank you.
