Sgt Collin Handy/Sgt Brian Watkins one and same

I want to know what I can do or say to my mother about this. She is currently in a "relationship" with this person and will not listen to us when we tell her he is a scamer. We have showed her this and other websites with this person picture and she just tells us that the person she is talking to is the person who had their picture stolen . I am baffled and don't know what else to do short of having her committed into a mental institution because this is just crazy. If you have any advice please share.
