More immediate term: you know what I really miss about having a mate? Going out to dinner--especially an ethnic place, talking one-on-one with a bottle of good wine and wait staff that leaves us alone. Maybe a walk afterwards. A date night...wow that would be nice to do that again. No stress, no judgement..remember: conversations are not contests.
