my friend was chating with a Ltd General Charles Bouchard who said he is in Lybia for awhile. he said that he loved her and wanted to relocate to the U.S. he told her he had a friend and gave her the address of this friend. She gave it to me and i wrote him and said thank you for your services and we appricate all of his efforts in the armed forces. he told me he is a British Officer Major General James Chiswell. of course i was curious and started talking to him and checking on all the sites i could think of. he is on facebook and much information on him if you google Major James Chiswell. well we chated for about three weeks and he is in love and WANTS ME TO SEND MONEY for him to get leave and come home to me(is this a joke) i played along with this for a little while but then i told him i know he is a scammer. he still insists that he is j. chiswell. also he says he is friends with charles bouchard who is already on your site as a scammer and another identity theft. i would like to see these guys put away because my friend and i are one of the lucky ones and realized early on that it was a scam. is there nothing we can do to stop this from happening. not just our guys but all women and men who serve in the armed services deserve more respect than having some crazies out there using there names and committing crimes. he was a charmer so ladies watch out for [email protected] i know that when they ask for money for leave, or ask you to fill out papers to apply for leave, ask for money for phone or tell you thay can't call you or skype LADIES THIS IS ALL UNTRUTHS. it makes me angry they think they can scam us and get away with this

Only through educating our friends and loved ones about this type of thing. Arrests are rare mainly because of the anonymity the Internet offers coupled with the scammer usually being in a different country to the victim.

Here is the fake Chiswell yahoo avatar and the real person is definitely not on Yahoo chat as he is just now. Neither is he hunting women on line and asking for money for leave and documents from fake people. It would be tricky to be in Libya for reasons we won't discuss here so use imagination. Generals and senior officers are never on the Internet doing the activities described. They are far too busy and contentrate on their men.
