hi i need some help in finding out if this woman is a romance scam or if she is legit... a very dear friend of mine is involved in this and i am very worried about him....It started while he was playing zynga poker just as a chat in the poker chat room and it very soon turned to an online love affair...on facebook.
TIMELINE....meet her in the poker room in late October 2012
turned to an affair in early november2012
asked her to marry him on the 20th december2012
she is making arrangements to move here to in March (australia) she is from germany and to get married here, she also wants to work her as well.
dob 4/4/1959 from Germany works as a doctor specializing in the heart has 1 son he list himself as a doctor as well mind you he is only 20 so i find that hard to swallow.
Her facebook page seems to be legit with friends and videos on her sons page....but there is something in my gut that tells me this is not right and it doesn't seem to fit into the normal romance scam.While she is telling my friend how much she loves him including his family (she has them on her side )and wants to spend the rest of her life with him.she is also friends with other men on her facebook page and is playing the game with them sending love pics and lot and lots of love song videos and still chatting and flirting in zynga poker rooms.
when u Google her name it comes up in image as same first name different last name and different pic but all linked back to her f/book page i dont get that.?also there is a show in Germany where she emailed them to ask for money to come to Australia as she cant afford it and wanted them to hep out there were also a lot of lies in this email and her german is not so great i have to translate it sometimes 3 times and word for word. Also on her facebook page she has a nigerian friend ....Okoli celestine... i have tried to do some searches on him but i havent found a lot exept he owns a company.
She does not answer to many of my question where does she work what hospital etc...my friend has deleted from his life a lot of his good friends because of this even his sisters are disgusted with him and what and how he has gone about this i am very very concerned about him as he does not go out has cut communication with so many people and just wont have it that she is anything other than his future wife i have tried many times in vain to discuss this with him even showing him some of the facts that i have collected but he says she will be angry if she thinks i am checking on her....please if you can help i would be grateful for any advice.
