Hi any one have contact with an Anderson Walker via facebook. I added as friend because of mutual friends listed. i began chatting online and was asked to set up a yahoo account for more privacy which i did. More fool me. Any way I kept my chat primarily to facebook. Read a few reviews here about Anderson thought he might be the same one. As i had given my email address and phone number i am now stressing i am being scammed when i received calls private number and then +2348134019 which i did not answer which i know this is a nigerian number. I have since blocked this person on facebook chat had been basic and calls only started yesterday and one last nite which i ignored. Any advice out there what i can do to protect my accounts

If you haven't given him any confidential personal information, you have nothing to worry about. He may try to continue a bit longer, but when he realizes he can't get any money out of you, he will stop.

Thank you Dotti to put my mind at rest I did get a number of calls which i didnt answer. Then received an email and chat window came up couldnt help myself and responded 'the game is up' received a response telling me he understood so hopefully all ends well. A word of warning to anybody using social networks like facebook be very cautious who you add as friend

That's odd? Yahoo says of the email address. Not found. The page you were looking for doesn't exist. If you have received an email from it, have a look at the email header. You will see the IP numbers in the Received: lines. It's the bottom IP number is the origin of the message. Not all cases but usually the origin can be seen from the header. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14881 better describes how to view the headers of an email message. Or simply copy and paste it to this thread and others could check. ( But remove your name and address from there)

Thanks to all the contributers of this post in identifying e mail address can i assume all received messages starting with prefix 197 242 are all nigerian based as i checked headers in e mails. Also i have to assume the photo posted is stolen and possibly email address. I have notified e mail provider my concerns so hopefully they will check it out Anyway thanks again

As far as I know, IP numbers for nigeria are from 31.13.152.0 to 31.13.159.255. Then ip numbers beginning with 41.57 to 41.223. Then to the range beginning 62.173 to 62.193. Go from 77.73.184.0 to 77.73.191.255.
Some IP numbers beginning with 80 & 81 are also nigeria. Then we see IP's starting 82.128 to 82.128.127 and 83.143.8 to 83.143.15. Then most of the other nigeria IP numbers are in the range of: 193.110.2.0 to 193.238.31.255. Then 196.1.133.0 through to 196.222.255.255. Then the 197 block of 197.148.80.0 to 197.255.255.255
