Soldiers abroad can phone free - any who can't are scammers

The UK military provide free phone services, even to their forward bases, so anyone claiming to be a soldier on active service abroad who says they need money to make calls or buy a mobile phone is exposing themselves as a liar and scammer. If they're even deeper in to enemy territory they wouldn't be able or allowed to communicate by e-mail, and it's laughable to suggest they can send e-mails but don't have access to a phone.

The US military even provide access to skype for making calls home. I don't want to provide technical details, otherwise scammers will devise a new set of lies based on those details but I can direct any soldier to the nearest place they can make free calls home if they're having a problem. Of course, soldiers don't have any problem, only scammers do.
