I was scammed by Augustine Gomez who found me on FB. Here is his profile: https://www.facebook.com/cynthia.jacobs ... ts&fref=ts
His e-mail address: [email protected] - I have checked IP address: 65.55.92.136. This IP address is related to United States, and fixed within Redmond, Washington - I reported the case to the police department in Redmond. I hope they will answer. The scammer gave me also a land line tel. no: 2146137732 - I thought that was Plano area and communicated with the police department of Plano. However, the criminal officer informed me that the number operates in Mesquite (Texas) and gave me the details of the Mesquite police department (I hope they will contact me). I called that number from Skype (just to check), so nobody can see my telephone number - a guy talked to me, sent me some kisses, but that was the voice of a kid and spoke very poor English (e-mails were written perfectly). The other phone numbers are Malaysian mobiles: 601116346547 and 60102996185.
I don't know how to enclose the pictures he sent to me.

So I think it has to be Malaysia, but must have some links with the USA, since the land line phone number answered.

you can easily buy those and have the calls transferred either to your computer or cell phone

Thanks a lot for information. I'm still waiting for some information from the USA. I wrote also to the Malaysian police, but I'm not expecting their answer

Cannot believe Malaysian police has contacted me

Malaysian police writes to me: "Thank you very much from your mail to me.i have tried calling the number
you send over but no answer.we are going to need your help is bring this
said person to book and save innocent women for been scam by this said

I really don't know what to answer. How I could help them. I don't dispose of their tools and I am quite far away from Malaysia. I gave them the Malaysian phone number, e-mail address and all the details I had. The scammer will not contact me any more, because he knows that I have discovered his intentions. Any ideas?

Are you sure that message actually came from the Malaysian police? That looks extremely suspicious. What address did you write to, and what address did the message come from?

I have seen this type of message in the past, sent by the scammer himself (posing as the police) to a victim. His "plan" consisted of the victim sending more money so they could supposedly catch the scammer. Of course the scammer's real plan was to pick up the new money and once again walk away.

Lol! Now I'm confused. I have contacted the police through their official website. How the scammer could find out that I did it?

i was talking to "Augustine Gomez" via the 214 # listed in previous post and he made contact with me originally via match.com and then emailed me from the hotmail address also noted in other posts. the pics he sent me dont even look like the pic on the fb page. he said he was widowed and he was from portugal but he didnt speak portugese...he also said his 2 daughters were living in portugal with his brother and he was living in houston. i talked to him randomly for a couple of weeks but felt like things didnt add up and he was never available to meet so i blew him off. the post read on this site that he is full of crap. he never asked me for $. i wouldn't have given it to him anyway ~
