I started communicating with a man that I met on christianmingle a couple weeks ago. He immediately started telling me how much he loves me and writes ridiculously "romantic" (corny) emails. I find some of his phrasing funny, and I get the impression that he doesn't always understand what I am saying so I have suspected that he is not from the US. I questioned him about where he grew up, and he said that he grew up in Texas and then moved to Michigan when he got married. He claimed that his ex wife was arrested for having heroin in an airport, and that she left the country, and he has no idea where she is.
He told me that he has a contract with the UK government to buy crude for them that would double his money. He first had to go to the UK to get the documents and then to Saudi Arabia to oversee the refining of the crude. Once he got to the UK he told me that they wanted more than what the contract was for so he had to return to the US to use his house and cars for collateral. He stated that he was able to get the money, but the bank was reluctant because his house wasn't quite worth what he needed. I kept waiting for him to ask for money, and I made it clear that I am a struggling single mom. He had not asked me for anything and continued to communicate with me even though I stressed that I had no money, so I started to think that he was legitimate. A week later the crude has come into port at UK, and the cost to clear it is much more than what he expected; he needs $20,000. He called the bank, and they will not loan him any more money. He has someone that can help him with $5000, and he has asked me to send him the rest. He promised to pay it back with interest as soon as the product cleared. I told him that I do not have any money nor do I have access to any. He resorted to begging. I work third shift so I told him that I have to get some sleep; I would talk to him later.

Have you ever read the story of Mephiboseth in 2 Samuel 9:1-12? Mephiboseth was the son of Jonathan, a very close friend of David. He became crippled at a young age, while he was being rescued he felled from the hands of one of the servants and he became crippled. He was taken to a place called Lodebar. Figuratively, it is a place of loneliness, pain, suffering and difficulties. He was in hell, he moved from abundance to lack, his daily prayer was that his life should end. Hear him in verse 8, "I am not better than a dead dog sir".
Do you know what, when he thought that all was over with him, he got a divine deliverance. He became a celebrity, an honored guest of the palace; because his father paid an price on his behalf. Beloved, whatever your situation may be right now, look unto Jesus. It may be upside down, or looks useless, and frustration may be your daily dose. Jesus says today, TE-TELSTAR, meaning I have paid it all.
I have seen seen brethren who were oppressed both physically and spiritually for years, during those times, good food was difficult to come by, but one thing they held unto was GOD'S WORD. They never let go of His promises, the more their situations get tougher the tougher they were in their relationship with GOD. The devil will not take upper hand in your situation. Your redeemer is alive; when the devil shouts at you, roar like a lion, because your Father is a lion.
Now when Job's travail was over, the LORD restored his wasted years. Gave him double for every item he lost. You will triumph. It does not matter how many of the problems have been there, there is a divine arrangement for you.
May the Good Lord bless His word, the hearers and doers of His word in Jesus name..... AMEN.
