Hi All,
I just want to warn EVERYONE about a "Sgt. Mark Badger" claiming to be an US Military Sgt. based currently in Afghanistan age 45 ( his fake profile picture he do NOT look 45 but rather 27-33) white male, he said he is christian ( Catholic). He is from Chigaco and have a house there and in New York. I met him on the dating site: Zoosk.com about a week ago and we started mailing back and forth. He told me he is a widow and have a son about 12 or 15 cant remeber who is in the UK at some military boarding school. His wife died in a car accident some years back.
He said he wanted to come to visit me( I am not from the US but from a Scandinavian country) next month because he got a 3 weeks leave. I thought things are going a bit too fast and his " Baby, darling etc talk was a bit too unreal for a person you just have met about 7-8 days back. He told me that he wanted me to delete my account on zoosk because he didnt want another man stealing my heart. I never deleted my account of course but he did. At first I thought thats very sweet he have already deleted his account for me. Which I now know was of course bull s. The reason for him deleting himself was most likely a lot of other reasons.
After some mailing back and forth we decided that we wanted to chat on the phone. "Sgt. Mark Badger" told me that I needed to write a letter to :Military Intercom Phone call Request, asking them for a phone request. He mailed me a letter ( See below) and told me to fill in the gaps and send it to this address:[email protected]

I mailed the above letter back to the mail address given and after 1 day I received a feed back from the them that my request have been approved. See below the reply:

When I received this reply I knew there was something wrong and I started to look up some informations on the website. I gathered a lot of informations such as US Military e-mail have to end with .mil and NOT .com. I also found his "profile picture" ( he is using on the dating sites) on this website when I entered the name Mark Badger. He is also on some other dating sites called: NZ singles and chum date hook up.Most likely even more dating sites.
Anyway I never transfered the money which is nothing I would do of course. The only thing I did was to send my address, full name and phone number to this scammer who I thought in the beginning was a real Military address.
I just want to warn everyone not to charmed by this scammer. He is most likely using a new name by now but maybe he is using the same fake picture which you can find if you google: MARK BADGER, CHICAGO
I hope this will help other inusent souls out there not to be scammed, and let´s spread the word.
