Slim. I presume the scammer is emailing you? Or sending messages to your phone?
First of all don't panic, that is what the scammer is trying to do to you. I know it's highly inconveniencing but could you delete your facebook profile? Maybe start another? I must be the only person in the world not really familiar with fb. Simply ignore the silly tosspot and it will go away. If said scammer is sending messages to your phone, contact your telephone provider. Ask them if they can block incoming telephone calls from the scammers locality or only allow local calls to you or something? You could easily change it back after. But it's important you send no response to said scammer.

The best thing to do in regards to FB would be to unfriend him. Remember that "she" may sound sweet and innocent but in reality there is a 100% chance it is a scammer and about a 98% chance that "she" is actually a he pretending to be a she with some stolen pics.

Block where possible and ignore all attempts at contact, the scammer is trying to take advantage of your kind nature, don't let him.

Dear
All scammers look and sound innocents
But they are not
I know how they are
To who like you, me, innocents it's very difficult to understand

Anyone talking to you online saying they are a Senegalese refugee and asking you for money is definitely a scammer - absolutely no doubt. Remember that he's a professional con man, who pretends to be this woman for money. If it was essentially your "job" to pretend something, you'd probably pull it off pretty well too.
Ignore everything, and as 4X1X9 said, un-friending him is probably the best way to cut off contact.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492
