I saw this site and I'm very interested to join and uncover the ideas and advice of the other people. I don't have any idea and never heard about this scam through this network sites (ex Face book etc.) until lately that I found out me myself is being scammed. It’s very ungrateful that many very bad people using this army photos to create a fake profile photos and use to scammed innocent people who are genuinely looking for love. I encounter this profile friend request on my Face book before I accepted it I saw the photo's are clear and do doubt’s that his an Army because the photos are clear and real because the uniform and background of the photo is quite right that his in an Army base so I didn’t hesitate to accept the request. Later on he asked to be friend and communicate and express his desire until I feel in love. The person behind the photo is quite smart and played very well to be that real Army in the photo that I don't need to ask for the webcam in the first place. Yes He also said that his US Army and stationed in Kabul and on a special team. With no idea at all in regards to Army's life I believed his story until then I start to send money when he told me that his Captain encounter a problem in the Custom while on his way to Africa for a peace keeping mission because his caught about the big money on his position and that money is not official because they both only get that one as a reward while on mission in Kabul so the Captain have to deposit it in their account his fear that the Captain will give also his name to the US Army office in the US and lost his Job and sent to jail if he will not help him pay the amount the Custom is asking so for my stupidity and feeling to him I send the money. So after that the said issue he ask me that he want to come for a visit but before hand I have to email his Captain to ask for a month holiday and to help him obtain permission to the Commanding officer so I did and exchange email to this person called himself as the Captain the answer and response is also correct & I can't see any doubts. I did what they told me because they said they can't access their money while in the camp so they asked me to provide money for his air ticket first with all my question and suggestion they let me make believed it’s all true and because I follow my heart and not my mind I send the money. Before the day of the said departure I asked them to send me the copy of air ticket and they did but it's not the real copy just the important details because it’s a night time and no scanner in his barracks , & I still believe so before the time of departure we still talk so he told me to call if his in Dubai and yes on the exact time he call with Dubai number but it alerts me because after 4 hrs he should be in China and China to Australia but he called and said that his stock in Dubai because they asked him for Basic Travel Allowance of $2000 USD before he can join the transit. This give me a very bad feeling that I don't like to send money any more so I have to ring the KLM office here stated where they buy the ticket and find out that the name is not booked and they told me that it’s a SCAM and the ticket is fake. I call the person on the number he used and even I know my phone bills will go up I talk to him a little longer and to find out that his accent is not American and Nigerian. This is only the time I have to alert myself that SCAM is Real that I did not pay attention in the first place because I did never heard and encounter in my life before. So I start to do my search and found this site and other warnings about this world wide problem of Scams. So Sad and very disgrace that this people especially in Nigerian is using this innocent Army Photos to SCAM innocent, good women all over the world to let them fall in love and scam their money.
