Got another scammer that was stuck in Nigeria...
She didn't even introduce herself properly. She went straight to the point, talking about her problems and letting me believe she was stuck in "Nigeria" (sigh again, that country must be filled with people who are stuck there) :p
She added my spammail account I have on hotmail on her MSN.
Her email addy : [email protected].


Here's the chatlog we had (short, since she went straight to the point about having money trouble)

me: you can't meet with me... how sad
why can't you ?
ashley zegt: well,i hope if i tell you my problem,you wont feel bothered,though we just met,i think i have a special feeling for you but i don't mind going ahead to let you know what the problem is
Me: oh. I'm a good listener
ashley zegt: what really happen my manager that bring me down to Nigeria,,,,,,,,,,,he went to North Carolina to see wife that was sick he told me that he will be back soon.I have not hear from him i called him that i need to move away from Nigeria to come and meet you my love ,,,,,,,,,,,and we need to pay the hotel bill before he left

ashley zegt: i ask him for the hotel bill money he told he have spend my money for is wife operation ,,,,,,,,,,that there is no money with him and i need to pay the bill before i leave the hotel and my traveling document is with the hotel management ................i do not know what to do

Then I blocked her and didn't continu the conversation.
I have the picture she uses on her profile to let others believe its her.

By getting straight to the point the scammer will be able to weed out those who will not be easy to steal from and keeping only the most promising victims.

While it would seem an unlikely way to hook most people, it will hook a very small number and it is that very small number the scammer hopes to target.
