The email you have posted is from an African romance scammer, a thief who is pretending to love you so he can steal your money. Could you please post a link to this scammer's profile, and post his email address as well and the message he sent you describing himself? That will help other people who he is trying to scam.

Hello kryonide. The answer to your question is yes, the sender of said e-mail is a fraudulent trickster. The text you posted has been copied and used by many scammers previously. What is the e-mail header telling you? In many instances the scammers become lazy and simply copy and paste other texts to their target. Obviously this being the case here.
You will be doing yourself a HUGE service by simply ceasing all contact with the scoundrel. Do not divulge their info is posted here nor confront the scammer - otherwise said scammer will only tell you more lies. Please post as much information as you can about this scammer because it will help others in future.

I can't quite get a grasp of the writing aside from being Scam. It has some elements of African and also of Russian or Slav. It may be something to do with translator and Senegal seems to pop up at me strongly. That means French written by an African, translated into what you use and then translated back to English. I havn't checked the rest but I do like to get to grips with text first. Of course please vanish from his lists and tell him nothing.

I notice the scammer has written - Text Question: and also Text Answer:
They advise you of that because the scammer would not need show no form of Identification to collect the funds. They would simply rock up to the wu office, would be given the cash with no questions asked whatsoever. So either the wu office is corrupt in the scammers location or the trickster itself has no ID.
Any time you see those Text Question: & Text Answer: it is fraudulent.

I'm not sure if Betty Brown is also just cheated as a mediator, otherwise they would not give the whole account. Unfortunately on this name via Western Union I sent money. If need be, I have proof of money transfer.

As for the name of Samuel Wilfred, nothing more to it occurred. Just what I wrote.

And the last name actually forced me to start the search, because it struck me that I should send money to Nigeria.

Now I know where my mails directed. It really was Nigeria (Lagos).

It could be the bank details are just window dressing. What the scammer wants is a convincing story. He can invent what he likes but the sole objective is to get hold of your money preferably all of it. It would seem logical just to slip in a Western Union Transfer for Betty Brown to collect rather than go through the "fake" bank account and use an excuse for doing so.
