Can you please clarify - because scammers from FSU (former Soviet Union) are almost always male and use stolen photographs of innocent girls (who are themselves victims of the scam).

Welcome to Scamwarners.

I have been looking over this with The Enchantress and so far, any information we can find is supporting the report here to be correct.

We will continue looking for more information, meanwhile, could you please let us know if the emails you received are the same as any of the emails posted here.

Of note, I took a small section of one of the emails above and did an exact search on it and found the exact line used by various scammers, Right click and open this link in a new window to see various hits on the phrase from an email from this person.

Other things of interest are her claimed age of 20 and the fact that she says she is interested in men up to 50 (apparently another dating profile says she is looking for a man up to age 99), while this is not unheard of, it certainly is consistent with a scammer.

Also of interest is the amount of dating sites she has profiles at, a pretty young girl who is looking for any man with a pulse would hardly need to join so many dating sites to find a man who is interested in her.

I really want to believe what you are saying and I cant understand why you would make up a story like this, but so far it is hard to believe with the amount of evidence we have supporting that its a scammer.

I hate to ask this of you but I would hate to remove this information today and find a new victim next week so I would like to be sure, I am presuming that while you were with this girl there were some photos taken of the 2 of you, if you have a photo I could give you an email address for you to send it to which may show that what you are saying is the truth.

Another thing that may help would be the headers and content from some of the emails you received.

Once again, I do appologise for this but there have been many cases where scammers and or scam victims have tried to profess the innocence of scammers that are posted here in order to get legitimate and accurate scam profiles removed.

Tim, we have further investigated your claim and all of the evidence points towards it being a scammer and we have no doubt about that.

I have no idea why you would tell us that you visited her if that is not the case but after some searching I am concerned that you have been involved with other scammers from Russia and Ukraine and that you refuse to believe any of them have been out to steal from you.

I am not sure how to tell you this in a nice way, but may I suggest you would be far better off trying to find a local woman of comparative age who you can actually meet without the need for visas and travel documents or the need to send money.

Your local church groups, general interest groups or even the bingo hall, the perfect woman for you may well be just around the corner.

A pretty 20 year old, regardless of where they live, is not going to be looking for love from a mature man.

I am offended by your assumptions and your advice to me. I did not ask for your personal guidenance on how to conduct my private life. Yes I was involved with a scammer from Belarus that I went to visit, but I did not lose any money to her. I am very aware of what a scam is and how not to get involved in them. This lady I have met and we spent some very quality time together. I am now running a background investigation on her because of all of this. I have not given her any money and she has not asked for any for anything. If these pictures are from a scammer then it is someone else who is using her photos, I have checked the IP address and they are different from Kharkov, but I know this is not evidence because of the internet cafes. But I will tell you that all I wanted was some of the specific details as to why you think this girl is a scammer, just because she is listed on several web sites does not prove to me this is the case. I was looking for some solid evidence from you which you have not provided me. You have asked me to provide pictures of her & I together and for header information from her emails. I am reluctant to do this because I do not want her information published onto any public forums. I was hoping we could do this by private email, but you have put all your responses on this forum.
