Hello am kelly by name,50yrs.living with my granson i was raised in a Air Force family. Father was a combat pilot. I was a High School Biology teacher in Costa Mesa at 22 years old, and working on my Masters. Got tired of school, and wanted to get outdoors. Threw my hang-glider on top of my VW van and headed for Tahoe...never looked back. Twenty Five years later, and alot of good memories, I realized it was just too damn cold...I'm a slow learner! Moved to Grass Valley a few months ago, still in the Sierras, and love it. I ran a small ski business,owned an auto repair/restoration shop,and rental car business. Now I'm a California auto dealer and certified master mechanic. I rebuild cars out of my home. I'm also a contractor, but just do consulting.Early-on I liked to surf, windsurf, and hang glide. Later got into tennis, golf, & fishing. Always been a hiker....

I'm a private pilot with power and glider ratings. I love to invent and own a couple of patents which just cost me alot of money- but I enjoyed the process. I've invented a hydrostatic moto tractor, called the Sumac, that may have some potential in third world countries for small farmers, as well as search and rescue. I enjoy gardening and working around the 5 acres here. My favorite hobbies are swimming,dancing,going to mountain top,walking at the riverside holding hands with my partener,learning ,reading,going to camping,hiking,exploring, mapping, motorcycle riding, and research but the best of all is cooking i love it so much wont deny that hahaha. I like to sometimes just sit with my grandson and be a listener for him, Because when he's happy I'm Happy and when I'm happy everybodys happy lol.
