I'm a mixed race, my mom is Spanish and my dad is an American. Like I said earlier, I have a teenage daughters who lives with me full time. and a loving kid who has never had that motherly love all her life, but I've always tried my all to be the best dad she could ever imagine. My dad is deceased though and Mum relocated to Spain from the UK because of her charity organization, and like they always say, there is nothing like home.

I used to work with a construction company in Brooklyn as a senior field supervisor, before moving to Washington, I'm currently working as a freelance contractor, in which execute contracts such as construction of houses, hospitals, rig house in offshore for oil companies, hotel and lots more. Being my own boss is something I have always wanted and seeing myself trying to achieve that always put a smile on my face and I give God all the thanks for the strength and wisdom. I like my job so much, because its fun, and I have been privileged to visit a couple of countries too.

I lead an active and healthy lifestyle, with track to distance running, yoga, cycling, dancing and swimming and I like a couple of music. My taste of music is quite varied from classical to jazz, christian music, country music. Personality wise, am confident, passionate about life, fun-loving, slightly off-center, but with the right amount of down-to-earth and mellowness, though can be unpredictable at times. Well is nice to know that you are a reasonable woman and has human value.
I was born a Baptist. I attend baptist church here in Washington, DC though I am not currently in any service unit, but I am a well devoted member of my church and always pray for the grace to salvation. I am a straight man and I stand by my words I am tired of being lonely and need a good and caring partner, a partner that will always show me what love is all about and always stand by me no matter what we encounter as an obstacle in the future. I do find great interest in you that was why I expressed interest towards you to show you that I am seriously searching for that spark.

My personality gives me a great ability to make people feel relaxed and at ease in my presence. Being very respectful and caring and not afraid to hug ,cuddle and show my affection/emotions in public and in private. I am very open minded about people and i see life as the exploration of possibilities and giving pleasure. Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts you. I am pretty much on the happy side of life, but like others, I do have my "days of." That means I do have some sad days or depressed days. My wife died of a brain cancer, at an early age it wasn't easy on Alex, but I was able to make sure she saw it through by being there for her for the last 8 years...the past may hurt but our ability to get along is what matters most.

About my expectation in a relationship .. I want someone who is loving, honest ,faithful, respectful and also want to have a long term relationship that would possibly lead to permanent someday and more importantly she should be God fearing. When in a relationship, I'm not into looks or race. Honesty, Trust and commitment are the most important things in a relationship. A lady with a very gentle and open minded approach to life is an attraction.Unusually i am looking for a lady that does not fall in love easily and is mature enough to make a distinction between sex and Love. Naturally she might want a child but also would involve me in her existing family if that was the situation.
I actually want to meet that special lady that knows how to appropriate quality time in a relationship. She should be God fearing and Ideally it would be great if we shared the same passions in life, but if not a partner that would allow me to pursue my activities would be perfect, I need a woman with a vast knowledge, someone that we could invest and own an investment together someday, the one that will regard me as her family and be ready to advice and also be there whenever I need her most. I am looking for an outgoing, fun woman that enjoys sports and movies, makes me laugh and is comfortable wasting the day away chatting about anything and everything. I do not believe in wasting my time or the other persons time because life is too short but I believe each person should be allowed to be who they are and to be free to give their best for each others mutual benefit. I like women who I can have a good conversation with and we can communicate in a mutually beneficial way.
