I just want to say thank you to this site. I found you in time to not get scammed. I am newly single after 30 years and decided to join a dating site. I met Robert Cook on Zoosk.com. He is a Captain in the Army deployed to Kuwait. Born in Irving Texas, grew up in Spain & London. Widowed with a 5 year old son. Sound familiar?
He sent me a Leave request form and needed $436 for a secure line. He even sent me a Citi statement that looked real enough with his name. Over $12,000,000 in 2 accounts. But he doesn't have access to his money. I researched about having to pay for a secure line with no results. Then as a last thought I put in the form #'s and all kinds of red flags started showing up. I told him I would not send any money. That if he was for real he would find a way. Well, I havent had any other correspondence from him and was going to report him on Zoosk but his profile is gone!
I can't thank you enough for keeping me safe! Lesson learned. I hope I'm smarter next time but not fair for the true gentlemen out there that will not be able to gain the trust as easy.
