The guy that uses this Vermont phone number (802-379-9838) preys on women, claiming to be the owner of a tower company. After talking to the woman for a while, he claims that a "tower accident" has happened on his jobsite and that he needs money fast. He will usually start asking for money right before he is supposed to meet with the woman he’s talking to. We have foiled multiple attempts of this persons scam and have given all information gathered to the police. He likes to use the screen names ending in the numbers 12131 & 101 on dating websites (ChristianMingle.com, Baby BoomerPeopleMeet.com, LoveAndSeek.com, MarriageMindedPeopleMeet.com, GenxPeopleMeet.com, etc.) and also uses email addresses containing 12131: [email protected] & [email protected]. He tells people he’s around the age of 64 and widowed and goes by different names depending on each site. Avoid this scam artist and contact the police if you or someone you know has been in contact with this person.

On one occasion this person has tried to have a woman set up an USAA account for her to provide funds to him. Another time he wanted the funds to be put into this account:

Account Beneficiary: Jose Santana
Account #: 438515694
Routing # or ABA: 111906271
Bank: First Convenience Bank, 1551 Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79936

The scammer will claim that he’s doing a tower job in New York and that his office address is:

101st & Fort Hamilton Pky
7th Ave. & Polyplace Gate
Brooklyn, New York 11209

The scammer’s profiles usually start out like this:

“My name is __________, Am a very simple man. I am sincere, considerate, fun, very open minded and genuine. I don't need drama in my life. I do love life and I'm very content with myself. I'm 6"0 in height. I don't discriminate against race. I'm open to a woman who knows how to treat a man. I would love to give the right woman the attention and pampering she deserves. That's if, she deserves and appreciates what I have to offer.”

Yes, this guy uses the story that the “tower job” he’s working on is on an army base and therefore cannot say much about it.

I just found more fake profiles by him on badoo.com and confirio.com . He changes his opening phrase “I'm a very simple man” to “I'm a very simple woman” and uses different pictures of females. He obviously has a multitude of scams going on at one time.
