Please tell me if this is a Scam?

I have been texting, talking (via cell) and emailng with this guy name Wilson Albert from Los Angeles, he says he's a Civil Engineer. I met him in http://www.POF.com last month. Everything has been wonderful, but about 3 days ago he started emailing me Poem's that other Scammers have use. Since I started recognizing those poems, i have become uncomfortable. However, he just informed me that he's traveling for work to Nigeria, that he was given the choice to Egypt or Nigeria, but since there are problems in Egypt he chose Nigeria. Well this has not settled good and the feeling of a scam coming on soon is hurting. His cell number is (323) 364-2059. The voice mail is him and he calls me and answers from this line as well as texts me from it. I checked the header at Yahoo and it is authorized. Normally I could tell you from the English whether he is an African scammer, but virtually every single word he sent you was copied, so there isn't enough of his writing to say that. But the fact that he is talking about going to Nigeria tells us that he is almost certainly Nigerian.

As for the phone number, it is a VOIP number--which means he can answer it while sitting at his computer in Nigeria.

Please also post the email address this scammer is using, to warn other potential victims.

I must also add that men don't fall head over heels in love through e-mail contact with someone alone. It's just not the way a man's brain and emotions work and only a man who is lying or insane would behave. To then compound it by lapsing in to poetry is bizarre, but for it to be merely copied and pasted from somewhere else is insulting and merely evidences that he's a calculating liar.

To pretend to be an impulsive lover and then copy poetry from someone else is nasty and cheap. The reason why a scammer does this is because it's easier for him to copy something he knows you want to hear rather than trying to make up his own words that will most likely give away that he is not American at all. It's just a part of his disguise to hide who he really is.

The writing is most certainly African, and the name was made up by someone who doesn't know what, in English, is a given name and what is a surname, which is common in West Africa. Even the president has Jonathan as his surname, not given name.

The background in the photo doesn't look like the USA. It looks much more like the UK or Western Europe.

The red brick building looks much more like something you'd see in the UK, with a chimney on top, and how many statues do they have in the USA of knights with swords ? The USA was formed after that era.

I really don't care about the background because for all I know that could be a vacation picture anywhere. We all post pictures from vacations or places we like. I provide them pictures where the background is a vacation site; like the building or area or the corner street deco or the Historical look of the building I pass, etc. so the background is of no importance to me, weather is a scammer or not. Unless, in the back ground there is someone been hurt by someone else, than that pic would go to the authorities.

Also, we can't say much about the writing, because it's a copy and paste. When they write on their words than we can say something about it. But, the writing is from someone else not the scammer himself.

It is definitely a scammer. It is almost certainly an African scammer. But there are scammers in this world who are not African, so all I was saying is that I personally would want to see just a little more of his own writing before I was confident saying that he was African. I am completely confident saying he is a scammer either way.
