This guy found me on EbonyLovesIvory last year, 09. He was constantly in contact and we talked via yahoo on voice. He was telling me all about a trip to New Zealand and Australia last year. A couple of things were not adding up for me so decided to googled a few things. Below is just one of the things I found from a lady in Australia....He cannot give you a phone number, and another woman contacted me saying she met him on a site, they were to go to dinner but he said "I am without funds right now" He is in Nevada, NOT LA as he claims
Now on PlentyOfFish using maubru.

I met a man through Match.Com earlier this year. He came to Australia
in May to stay with me. I quickly realized he was not the person he
had seemed to be. Reading through all the information on similar sites
like this I realise he spun me a real line. Right down to conning
money out of me for his "son injured in an accident"". When he arrived
here I realized he had little money and supported him for 3 months. I
eventually convinced him I did not want him to stay and he had to
return to the states. I took him to the bus stop last night so he
could catch a bus to Melbourne to board his flight back to the States.
This morning I discovered he had stolen my ATM card and cleaned my
bank account out. This evening I discovered he has stolen my deceased
mum's pearl necklace, her engagement ring and a beautiful expensive
bracelet my eldest son gave me for my 50th.Checking my computer I
realized he was still talking to women on dating sites and sent
numerous emails every week. Probably lining up his next hit!
His name is Maurice Bruce and his email addresses are
maubru712@yahoo. com and maubrulasvegas@ yahoo.com. He is an American
Negro and uses lots of e cards and secret letters to suck you in. A
real sweet talker. I think he really wants to move down to Australia
or New Zealand so ladies beware!!

Hi MS Downunder and welcome to Scamwarners.

I am glad to hear you have done some searching to avoid being scammed.

This is not the type of scam we normally deal with here but none the less it certainly is worthy of mention.

The scammers we deal with will not actually visit you like this one has although some of the other charactoristics of the scammers we deal with do seem much the same.

Unfortunately there are many more just like him who will happily live off of those willing to support them.

Could you please post one or 2 of his early emails, I am guessing that this man works like most scammers do using prewritten scripts to lure his victims, if that is the case those emails may provide some good evidence for anybody who may be contemplating a relationship with him.

Although we are probably not the best people to ask, if you have any questions please try us and we may have some answers for you.
