You have a scammer who uses google. It happens once in a while. The address may look (nearly) legitimate thanks to his research, but that's about all.

The writing tells me that you are dealing with an African.
The "you haven't send the message to my department" means that he tried the bogus "make a request on my behalf" scenario that only exists in the imaginary world of African romance scammers. Soldiers make their own requests, period. The chain of command is the entire basis for the structure of the military, and people outside that chain, including wives and family members CANNOT make requests on behalf of soldiers.

This part actually made me laugh.

It is so typical of an African scammer who knows nothing of the military. For starters, soldiers are given written information on things like APO address when they are transferred to a new station, so a soldier would not have to ask. Second, Generals do NOT run around providing this information to soldiers. Generals have MUCH more significant things to do. They have staff members who handle administrative and clerical tasks, period.

Please post the email address this lowlife fake soldier is using.

I feel so bad that these ignornant people are stealing the identities of American soldiers who die for our country. It is a shame,. I hope Karma bites them in the butt. What goes around, comes around, is my motto, and as a good friend told me once, "If it is too good to be true, it usually is."

This scammer is also on mocospace.com, it is a site where you can play games, meet friends, etc.
He is listed there by the name : john.tina
He contacted me there and asked to be my friend. Then he told me he had a gmail address. I gave him my gmail address and he corresponded with me there. I did my homework as I couldn't believe he would ask me to ask his general for a leave of absence. Please be aware that mocospace.com is not affiliated in any way with this scammer impersonating as a soldier. Moco is for fun, and meeting friends, and playing games. Thank you for all you are doing to help the American people and others with the scams concerning American soldiers.
