I met this guy online who claimed to be in the Us Army over 3years now.We hit off good also I'm not from the Us.He is stationed in Afghanistan for some peace order. He told me he want us to get married but he wants to apply for a fiancé visa. We have been corresponding for long he told me it would take us around 2-3weeks for the process so i sent the necessary documents(passport # also copy of birth paper) but then he said there is a fee for $1200 for the process he would pay half and I pay the other $600. He sent me a female name claiming its a agent responsible for that department in the Us to pay the money. Also it must be paid through western union. The agent address as follow: Name : eleonay mora state: californial city:whittier country: USA zipcode :90602.He claimed that after the fee is paid then he would come to my country spend couple weeks then we returned together to the Us. I met him on a site called SAM(singles around Me). He told me his wife died in car accident and he have a 6year old daughter. I just don't trust this fiance thing he haven't asked for photograph or photocopy of my passport please advised me so I can know the next step moving forward.

It is a scam.

Visas are applied for in person at the Embassy or Consulate of the relevant country in your own country.

Also, no official payments would be made using Western Union - only in a scammer's fantasy do companies and governments make payments in this way.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

An American cannot apply for a fiancé visa unless the two people have met in person and can prove it. No government agency asks for payment by Western Union.
