How are you doing today? Thanks for the email. I must say, it is not my style to come on dating site but I have my friend Tom, to thank for meeting you. I have been out of relationship for 5 years now, since I lost my wife due to cancer. Ever since then, I have not dated. I focused my attention on work and the service of my country.
I am a Lieutenant in the US Army, currently in
Kandahar, Afghanistan. I have been in the middle East since my wife died. I have been to Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Israel, Pakistan, and India. My parents are both Italian and I am their only child. I was born in Tokyo, Japan but I grow up in Nashville, TN, America.
I lost my parents in an Auto accident, my final year in college. Since then, I have been alone in this world. My dad talks about his family in Italy but I never had the opportunity to meet them.
I joined the US army because I was lonely and I decided to devote my time to learning and services. I came back after four year to marry my college girlfriend, she died after five year of our marriage. We didn't have any child of our own together but we have an adopted child. She is 17 and lives in London.
I like going out to the movies, swimming, football, basketball,I like dog, going out on the beach, camping, traveling. I am optimistic, positive, adventurous, conceptual, easy going, soft when romantic. Striving for excellence and committed to the service of the united state army and my country.
I am currently at US base in Kandahar, Afghanistan, I come online to upload updates and do other administrative duty, that's how I get time to come online.
I am in the desert and it is not likely I will call you; but when I get the opportunity I will call you, so your number is important. I am interested in making this relationship work. I am going to be retired soon, i want to have a family,
I want my parents to know that I lived a happy family life 
. I seek a long term relationship leading to marriage.
