Anyone on MATCH, be careful of this guy.

Are you emailing "SingleDaad45" He is going by the name "Logan Quinn", purportedly an environmental engineer from the UK living in CT. Father of a daughter 16 ish.

He is a total fake....looking for money, photos..

He writes very very romantically, and the pictures which are probably stolen, show a reasonably attractive person

One of his emails is [email protected]
The cell he uses is 860-365-1929

ANY information on his whereabouts would be appreciated

It sounds like it could be the same person as some of the other I have read about in here

I'm sorry that you were scammed.

If you read through the topics on the romance scams forum, you will probably find dozens that sound remarkably like your "Logan." It's not because they are the same person--It's because there are literally thousands of African romance scammers, using the same tactics and the same general storylines, who make their livings through bogus relationships established on dating and social networking sites.

As you suspected, he is not the man in the photos. He doesn't even know the man in the photos--he just stole some photos off the internet.

The phone number is not a cell phone. It is a VOIP number. It is internet-based, and can be used from anywhere in the world. Odds are he is sitting in Nigeria, Ghana, or Malaysia, simply because these are the 3 areas in which this particular type of scammer is most ocncentrated.

The real man behind those emails is most likely a young man from Nigeria or Ghana. He sits at a computer all day and cons people for a living. The romantic writing is most likely not his--these scammers love to copy and paste tihngs (sometimes with some editing, sometimes exactly) from romance sites like poemslovers.com and lovingyou.com

Chances of finding him are extremely slim, and even if you did, odds of actually convicting him of a crime or recovering any money (if you have lost any) are unfortunately far below one in a thousand, due to the complexity and expense associated with international investigations.

If you post some of the emails he sent you, it will help to make the lines he uses more visible, and will help others to avoid being scammed.

Hi Dotti,

Thank you. I posted this on behalf of a friend who didn't want to reveal her details. I know he will just go on to the next set of fake photos but hopefully - maybe, it will just help one other person not to get taken advantage of.

It stinks that there are people like this out there....and I can see just how many. This is a great forum, doing some valuable work.

SHAME on Match for not policing this more diligently on their site.
