And, after a little goading, in which I tell him I know he is a scammer, he coughs up a "cell" number in an attempt to prove he is real. Of course, in reality, this is not a cell number at all, but a redirect phone number that can be forwarded to phones anywhere in the world. These numbers are frequently used by African scammers who are pretending to be in UK when they are not.
