African romance scammer posing as an American.

This is a typical scammer approach. Note that I tell him I don't do long-distance relationships, but he just keeps going, mainly because (a) he probably has no clue where Miami is in relation to Chicago and (b) he wants my money and thinks that if he just keeps going he may still have a chance to steal it.

I particularly love my "wonderful" and "sincere" profile, considering the fact that this profile says next to nothing. But the scammer doesn't know or care--he just sees a photo of a woman who might be a potential victim, and he sends out his script.

His initial approach:

Hi I bet that you really blew me away with your wonderful profile... Have you found your match yet? I could feel your sincerity in reading your profile and I a highly intrude by your convictions. I will love for us to stay in touch and get to know more about each other Thanks Richard peter

you don't have to worry about that, because I have no intention of getting involved with someone who is millions of miles away or even across the country. I do not do long-distance relationships.

Scammer doesn't even pay attention, moves on, and repeats part of his script too:
