Hi lover_38, even though it is unusual to get something from a scammer, it is all done to lure you in and make you believe a web of lies. Scammers usually have a dead spouse, a child who is young (not old enough to sign documents or qualify as next of kin), and need money for some purpose. Some take a long time to ask for money, others a short time. This one even admits he is in Africa, so you need no further confirmation.
Please make sure you cut off contact with this liar. He will try to convince you he is a real person, will really be your great and one and only love, and draw you in until you are hooked before you can see it happening. If you have any questions, please let us know. If you can post his pictures and any emails he has sent, it will also help keep others from being scammed like you.
