Yesterday I saw that somebody named David B. Williams had asked me to add him to my skype contacts. I added him and late at night I found him online and he sent me an sms. He is supposed to be David B. Williams, a medical doctor from Washington D.C., widower with a son who is 14 years old. Presently, he is in Afghanistan to take care the people during the war. He asked me to give him my e-mail to be in contact with me (which I refused to do) and he also asked me to send him photos of me because I have no photos on my skype profile. I said no to this too. I asked him if he has a facebook account and he said he is very busy to do that.
He wrote things like "Life is precious and i think nation's economy grows as a result of good government and understanding of the people... What do you think?" or "so What do you do for a living...to overcome economical expenses and to sustain your self?" which did not fit with his west-african command of english "my dear i wes looking for a good friend of mind when i come i across your skype ID and it was really ince to me that is why i add you to my skype ID SO WE CAN BE good friend my dear". I blocked him of course. But I'm sure he'll try again to be in touch with me somehow.

Hi Leonis and welcome to scamwarners. You should just ignore any further contact from this scammer. This one follows the pattern of a military scammer- posing as a person in the military, has a child, widowed. Isn't it interesting that he's in a war zone but has time to be on Skype and look for love? Yes, he's fishing for someone to scam and he thought it might be you. But you were smart enough to come here and check it out.
You can post his Skype ID and if he gave you his email address, include that as well. Thanks for posting so others will know to watch out for this lowlife liar who is only interested in seperating you from your money, not romance and long term love
