scam or not

I have been talking to a guy who had sent me many pictures and videos of himself. His emails are very misspelled though. He hasn't asked for money, but just said his laptop was stolen. Can they be a scammer sending so many pictures.

Possibly, but you haven't given enough info to tell.

Search for his email address on Google and also use Google's image search to see if you can find his photos used for other scams. Also take sentences from some of his earlier emails and search them on Google (with "" round them) as they will be scripted.
