Yes this happened to me too! I guess there is no excuse for me being stupid. I got contacted from ElitedatingSA.

^^^^^^^(BW), it is natural to feel stupid when you find out you have been scammed. I know sometimes I still feel that way. But remember, you are dealing with a professional liar who makes his profession lying to women to get them to fall in love with him and ultimately to give him money. We don't see it in the beginning- it's just nice to have the attention and think someone would care for us as deeply as they claim they do. It is good that you suspected something and came here to find out the truth.
It is also natural to feel angry, sad, and lack trust in relationships once this happens. Please make sure you go back and connect with the people around you so you counteract what the scammer did to your heart.
Also, if you have any pictures or emails that would help others identify this scammer, please post them.

I'm currently in communication via email and phone with a James Rice. We met (not yet in person) on a SA dating site. He says he is currently in the UK but needs funds to come back to SA to sort out a financial matter but the UK authorities have frozen his funds in the UK because of a work contract that's gone wrong.
Can anyone please help me to vertify and possible get rid of this possible con man.
