Single dad from New York, with a son. Working as a Civil Engineer, on a job assignment in UK. His US issued Credit card not working, asked for money to buy food, sitter for his son, son's surgery resulting from an accident in UK, pay hospital bills, and get passports back from the hospital as they took them to make sure the bills were paid. This one wasted my time and some money. Said he's biracial , Caucasian and Asian/Indian parents, and uses pictures that match that look. Later found out some of his emails originated from IP address 66.249.137.17 - Los Angeles, and others from 41.217.65.3 - Lagos, Nigeria, and he asked money to be sent to UK and Singapore for his lawyer! I think he's an Indian guy from Africa, with partners in crime from US, UK and Singapore.

Thank you for posting this scammer email, taking a quick look I see one prominant sign that its a scam, the 4470 phone number, there will many many other clues to it being a scam but the phone number is a classic sign.
Numbers that start with 4470 are a redirect service that allows a person from anywhere in the world to receive calls through a UK phone service, these numbers will be of little use to somebody who actually was in the UK but to a scammer sitting in an African internet cafe it could be the difference beteeen scamming somebody or wasting him time.
