This email was sent to me a couple of months ago. it contains the same story scammers use, this guy said all of a sudden he had to leave to work offshore oil rig, he claims he is a widow, ( he went to the extent to say that his father and his wife died in a car accident on valentines evening!!!), says has three kids. He likes to be called Arman and says he is from Greece. He says he doesn't have a day when he will come back, he keeps chatting with me on and off. He hasn't asked for money yet because, unfortunately for him, he made the horrible mistake to send me this email where he said he had chat with me and that I am in Hawaii, when he knows I am in California where he claims he lives as well. He did not know how to fix his lie, all of a sudden he called me and I realized that his english is very poor. His mistake delayed his whole scam, now he is working harder at repositioning himself to land his claw on my pocket and ask me for money. I googled and found his name in a list posting oil rig scammers. Now, he says he is in Dominican Republic now. A thing that I find interesting is that scammers create Facebook accounts and place the same fake pictures they send to women. This one has a facebook account with the same exact pics he sent to me. for the most part his FB is pretty empty, just has those pictures, and states the same lies, he works for some made up company.
I am including the last email he sent me. He became upset with me when one day I asked him, How is Accra? [a place where reportedly scammer gather to do their evil deeds] So, He went: why are you asking me that!! you better tell me why, I googled it and I see that Accra is a city in Africa, why .... ! [oh boy he was mad] I told him," I thought you said you were there dear." What he told me is that he was a mud engineer working at an offshore rig in northern ireland. Lies, lies, lies, I think he works at the same cyber computer room with Steven Lan Powell, (another big time scammer). By the way I met both in Match. Arman has the thickest accent ever. his voice does not correspond with the small thin body his picture shows. He sounds awful. check out the last name Blanco and Blancon, which by the way do not seem Greece at all.
