I was feeling so lonely and desperate for some love and company I joined Senior Dating Agency and this time I contacted men from London who seemed 'normal' enogh ... how wrong I was...
To start with he wasn't from London, he introduced himself as a businessman from Hemet Ca USA. I didn't want anymore long distance over the internet relations but he somehow managed to convince me he can be in London pretty soon and then he has a house inherited from his late mother in Liverpool Merseyside and he has been thinking about moving permanently to live in UK. Ha!
The same modus operandi like before, trip with transport of trucks to Ghana, friendwho tampered with the company account back home, no way of cashing cheques in Accra, insurance, hospital bills, hungry, fantastic Ghanian friend whi has been helping him.... I lost £1400. To prove to me that he is hardworking decent men /!!!/ he send copy of his American passport and then everything was clear. I never respond to him again. The copy was fake and very badly done by copy and paste. To make everything clear I contacted USA Consulat in London and they adviced me on not contacting this individual again as he is not what he says he is. Done.
Have plent more emails if anyone needs to see it.... and photos too. Just help me pls with postying them here. Eve

After 6 months he is back and he hasn't even hide what he is really after, no, not my heart, he is after my vallet. See the text I enchanced in bold. If I have felt any kind of 'weekeness in my knees' this SOB will get his way with me and the saga will start running again. What's a creature as low as it's difficult to believe.

By the way, his IP is 41.211.1.15. it is Great Accra, Ghana. This SOB is still there and he is pretending to be back home to CA USA. SOB

I'm sorry to hear you were scammed. As I am sure you now know, your scenario is way too common. He is still in Ghana because that is where he lives, and he was never from, in, or even traveling to UK or US.

The good news is that if he is trying to get money from you again, he is probably not doing too well right now - if he had enough active paying victims, he would be spending his time working on them rather than coming back to you knowing you are less likely to pay. Of course the part about paying you back is a total lie--money only travels in one direction in these scams-from victim to scammer.

The consulate's advice was sound--do not contact him or allow him to contact you again. The best thing you can do is move on with your life, and use the knowledge you have gained in this to avoid these scumbags in the future!

You have been absolutely right, this site is watching 24/7 by scamers and other criminals. Here he has proved himself.
Actually, been sitting in my office today with a new task to designe labels for my new product and somehow couldn't concentrate well. Checked my emails and then here he was: an email from my devoted scamer Gerald.
Only few days ago I been going throught his emails as I've been preparing myself for a meeting with a lady jurnalist who is writting about scamers for one of our national daily newspaper. I've been saving all his emails with the idea than one day I'll write this subject but needed more distance to the whole matter because it did hurt a lot for a while and then been really busy with reesthablishing business which has been left neglected and went nearly nonexistent during my illness and then difficult recuperation time so I had had far more important things to do.

I actually feel sorry for him. Poor soul, we do have choice, we can get better, we can change and we are free to admit to our feelings, happiness or pain, whatever life throw at us when he is like a dog left to snife his own excerments not even knowing that there is something better. Poor men.

I liked very much this men on the photos my scamer Gerald has been hidding behind. Mine kind of men. The face, the eyes, hair and the whole person, ouu, what's a pity there was a scamer behind the story....
I know what I'll do: I'll put his face on the label of my new sweets, it comes in a boxes large enough to carry biger label. Usually I used my own paintings to avoid any legal complications but this time I'll put there this such a handsome men, let him advertising my sweets! I am sure he is going to like it very much when he'll learn about!

At the same time I'd like to thanks to my scamer for helping me get back to my former self in a short period of just a few months time. Sometimes to get better we need to reach a rock bottom and that was it for me. Expensive lesson but how profitable!

Whatever the scammer is trying to tell you, you are not stupid. He caught you on a vulnerable moment, in different surcomstances you would never have fallen for this scam. And please don't feel sorry for this scammer, he's just a criminal who is too lazy to get a real job, a dispicable loser. Romance scammers are the lowest of all, they allso make emotianal victims, it's not just the money they take, they allso take a part of the victim.
Whatever the scammer will write to you, just ignore it. They can get very nasty at this stage.

My impression is that 'small boi scammer' has been the stupid one!! You, Eve, have proved you are smarter & stronger than he is!

Perhaps it would not be wise to use the photo he sent you as a label on your product! The photo has been stolen from somewhere on the internet (maybe a social networking site) & the owner of that photo is an ITP (innocent third party). There could be legal ramifications for you if he found his photo being used in the way you suggest.

Thank you for having the courage to post your story - you may very well save someone else from being scammed by this cretinous criminal!

He is not the man in the photos. He simply copied photos he found somewhere online--so using the photos in such a way could have legal implications.

The mentality of these scammers always amazes me--they are liars and thieves who are making their living by hurting others, yet they have the nerve to become angry at their victims or intended victims when they are discovered.

The good news is that scammers often find themselves here because another victim or potential victim reports they are listed here--so it is possible that your posts have opened someone else's eyes to who he is!

This is the idea of all my postings here and on the other sites devoted to supporting victims of this kind of scam, my cooperations with Polish Churches in London, with Polish Newspaper on Internet, with other jurnalists and agencies. Scamers cannot be prosecuted because they operating with permition of their countries corrupted goverments and civilised jurisdiction has no entry there. The only thing civilised world can do at the very moment is to educate peple about such a crime. If I knew about scamers before any of those wouldn't happen to me.

Of course I won't put this men face on the labels for sweets.He is just as much a victim as I am, worse because they have his family albums and his credit cards. It was just silly talk on my side to poke my devoted scamer Gerald as he has to look at the mirror every day and wish to see one morning the face from the photo in some unexplained miraculous way just replaced his own. I bet this is his everynight preyer.... Why did I always used my own designs, for the same reason: to avoid eventual legal problems.

There is one item of interest here and that's the passport forgery. I note the spelling of "Califonia". When I see that, it means SCAMMER. It's the trademark error of this criminal or the group behind it. It is seen on public profiles quite frequently. For some reason such a basic mistake is missed by the majority of potential victims, as are other signs. If someone claims to be a Doctor, (ie-have a PhD) does their command of English and their literacy match that standard? Bear in mind that 5 years of University for a foreigner or non English person requires a clear grasp of English language because the bulk of papers needed for study are written in English. The same applies to Engineers, Oil company workers, and most professions needing higher education.
There is one basic rule- READ THE PROFILE CAREFULLY. If you do not know there is a Tokyo in Brazil, search Google. Scammer thinks there is and took the trouble to tell you so, but if you didn't read the profile you would have not have seen that lie.

I am afraid our Gerald is going to be a busy chap now, occupied by hosts of lovely ladies and his dream of yet more dosh, and sadly it is all going to be an illusion.
