Is this another scam? [email protected]

I have been talking to General Hugson Peter ([email protected]) for about two months now. He has told me that he is widowed, has a 17 year old son named Davis, and lives in Albany, New York. He has also said that he is a four star general serving in Syria and has been in the Army for about 19 years. He says he was born in New York, at the age of 15 moved to Holland with his Uncle; he is an orphan, at the age of 20 he came back to the United States to finish his military schooling. I have given him personal information but now he wants $2500. He says his son was in a serious car accident and is on his death bed. I am his only hope to get him out of Syria. I am supposed to get him a leaving permit certificate and wire $2500 to the United Nations. This just doesn’t make sense to me, is this another scammer impersonating a soldier? Please can you see if this is truly a scam or not? Does Hugson Peter exist?

Yes, it is a scammer.

There are no soldiers in Syria. Its a typical Military romance scam. All family members are dead and only you can help.

Military members do not pay for leave, phones or internet while deployed. They also have access to their money. Military members immediate family has free medical care. If his son was truly on his death bed the Red Cross would get involved and make sure he got home. Not even his wife could get him home.

No one but the military member can request leave for him. In the military only the member would have contact with his chain of command. His wife, children, mother or internet girlfriend would never have any contact with his chain command other than Christmas parties and etc.

Military Leave is free to all members it is part of their contract.

Please post a couple of initial emails from him and the email address of the fake leave officer.

Please stop all contact with him. If you confront him he will continue to lie.

Please post a couple of his initial emails to you. Remove any of your personal information from them.

Also post the email address and the email from the fake leave dept.

This will help other women avoid his scam attempts if they search for the information.
