Thanks for the response. I will like to use this opportunity to tell you some more about me. My name is David Williams. I am 50yrs old,I am a widower, I live in California in Santa Cruz, USA , USA , I'm Self Employed Construction Engineer. I seek LTR and do not mind a LDR to achieve this; though the distance i feel its up to both of us to determine if we gonna be or not. I studied Engineering in University of Technology, Jamaica, my main field is in Mechanical Engineering, i do Construct and assemble Power Plants, Generating Transformers, Bridges, Routers, Cells, Inverters, etc. I was born in Brooklyn, NY USA, My sons name is Martins he is 20yrs old and He is studying Architecture, he has a passion for Buildings, skycrappers etc. we both are men of art i guess lol.


I travel alot because of my work and i have been to all 50 states and also out of the states. I have plans to retire in 3months, not as strong as i used to be,and moreover i think i have made quite a great deal of fortune, both in knowledge and in wealth but i do lack one thing: Am without LOVE. I guess the death of my wife also took a toll on me and also turned me to a workaholic, so i wouldn't think about it so much. I am over that now, and ready to move on, need a comforter and a true companion, and not the stress of work. A fun Saturday for me is to visit the Hermann wineries when the weather is nice. One of my favorite vacations was taking a helicopter ride and horseback riding in the Grand Canyon.


Am sure you might have pondered why i did study in Jamaica, lol my dads native american and my moms from Jamaica. I have an accent, I am the only son of my Parents and My parents passed away 12yrs ago.Its just me, my son Martins and my little bull dog Murphy. Well concerning sexuality, i am not a promiscuous man, my desire is to be sexually faithful to the woman I marry. If two people love each other and will communicate on their likes and dislikes about their partner's sexual behavior, I believe many problems can be resolved. Looking good is what i spend most of my time doing. I need real love. I dont play games and am not ready to be played. Distance is not a problem. If I find the right woman. Just thought I would share with you some of MY thoughts on Relationships: I believe that the ideal relationship must have three very important elements, TRUST, RESPECT and PASSION. Trust is very important because it is what makes one comfortable, knowing that their partner will always be faithful and honest, jealousy is the opposite of trust and is the seed of destruction, without trust a good relationship cannot exist. Respect, both parties must respect each others as equals and never try to gain an unfair advantage over the other one, many relationships go on for years with one party always dominating the other, but sooner or later the other party resents this and love is lost. And then there’s passion, this is the fireworks that go off when two people are in love, it’s the chemistry, it’s the touching and caressing that everyone needs and shows your partner that you really do care. Many relationships begin with only the physical attraction but they must have trust and respect to endure.It's very rare when you have all three, but it's wonderful. Just as music soothes the mind, so love is needed to soothe the soul.Hope to hear from you soon.

I am to build and design a Power Plant Generating Transformer that can generate electricity through the Solar System. It's going to be executed in Lagos Nigeria. I just got back from the airport now and I'm writing this message in the middle of both unhappiness and depression..Though I am happy that I have you in my life. On the other hand, I am depressed because i had to ship an equipment before leaving the state and the equipment got lost in transit. Immediately after I got the confirmation that the contract has been approved, I shipped some equipments so that I can get them and use them here for the project,That has been the reason why i tell you sometimes that i was busy. On getting to the airport now to pick the equipments, I discovered that the major one is missing. I tried to talk to the shipping company but they insisted that there is nothing they can do about it since I was the one that shipped them myself which i had no insurance for the shipment. I spoke to the man that was assigned for me as my assistant here and he told me we can find it in a company here.. We went to the company and we found the equipment, but the problem is the cost compared to what I have. The price for the equipment is $45,000 and I only have $40,500 cash and i have deposited it to the company. Honey Right now I need to get $4,500, I tried to use my debit cards here but it couldn't work because it got broken when i mistakenly sat on it, I would have love to call my bank but my bank will never release any money from my account if I am not present in person. This is the problem that I have honey. I would have loved to explain to the company that gave me the contract but this can wreck my career as it not presentable. I am confused and you are the only person that I can explain these to. I know it is not right for me to tell you all these but it is my problem and you are the only one I can tell. The first guy I ran across on a dating site, unfortunately I have deleted all those, signed his emails Dale Cares, thought it was cute. He figured out real fast he wasn't getting any money from me so he stopped emailing me. I didn't realize until months later that he was a scammer.

1st he won't give up, so I didn't answer. Then I guess he forgot he sent me this email on the 17th.

On 11/25/10, I received similar emails with identical comments and phrases. This time the sender found me on the Senior dating site and calls himself Mike Burrows from Baltimore, MD. After about the 3rd email from him I became suspicious because his romantic overtures were overly mushy and gushy, not the stuff you'd expect from someone you just met online. He also evaded my questions. Do you think this is one and the same guy or do all these romance scammer use the identical phrases. Before he got around to asking me for a loan, I googled a couple of his phrases which took me directly to scamwarners and the postings about David Williams aka David Good, etc. Thank you for posting those. Some scammers use different false names and different email addresses, and some scammers use pre-written emails and photographs that other scammers are using - it is not always clear whether it is the same scammer using different fake identities, or different scammers sharing the same words and phrases and photos.

An IP address can often show which country the emails were really sent from. The relevant IP address is found in the 'headers' of the email - posting the entire headers (with your own name and email address removed - they may occur in several places, so check carefully) can enable someone to find out where the sender is actually located. The way to access the headers of an email is a bit different with different email providers, so it depends which one you are using. For example, if you have a Yahoo email account:

1. Go to Inbox.
2. Click the RIGHT-mouse button on the 'subject' (name/title) of the email.
3. LEFT-click on the bottom option of the menu: in English, 'View Full Headers'.

Or, in the older version of Yahoo:

1. Go to Inbox and open one of the emails you would like the headers for, as if you are going to read it.
2. Go to the bottom of the letter. On the bottom-right is a link, 'Full Headers' - left-click on that.

Or, if you have a Gmail account:

1. Open the mail you wish to obtain the header for.
2. At the top of the mail, on the right, next to the little box marked 'Reply', you will see a downwards pointing arrow. Click it.
3. Now choose 'Show Original'.

I'm glad that you discovered that you were writing to a scammer before you lost any money to him. Well done for thinking to google phrases from his emails.

Same scammer is using another picture of a younger way better looking darkhaired guy who 'lives' in Louisiana.He uses the same name 'Martins'.I thought how odd for a first name. His pic is so cropped,and appears to be someone's wallet photo. No other pics available and even on request for more. He also doesn't pay membership for he can't reply back. I got angry and wrote a comment in my profile about" I paid membership so can you,no picture,no chat. I will do a background search on you." The website contacted me, after many inquires about the potential scammer,then they deleted my profile/bio.Guess I was making a spectical of myself so they were keeping an eye one me.Told me I was breaking the rules about my membership status and to write another profile.All they can do is tell me to block anyone if I feel uncomfortable, so to speak.The website is basically collecting money, for they have such a lame limited software and don't care really what occurrs to people who pay or not pay.Can't leave negative feedback on line to warn other members about scammers on there.

I received the same exact mushy letters from James Kahn on the seniorpeoplemeet web site. He also has another profile under Justme6653 with one cropped picture wearing a suit. Same face as lonely332 wearing a t-shirt.And to think I would've fallen,had there not been so many grammatical errors,inconsistentcy in the fluidity of his writing.His profile was like that of an illegal immigrant.For someone who has a Masters degree and lived in the US forty years,he should've learned to carry on a conversation to match.Then when all the poems started coming,I had to search some of the lines and found many in a poem website.In fact last night's poem was an actual song(Boris Gardiner artist) which led me to this website for a romance scammer.He didn't reply last night as I was expecting some pictures;due to his finally coming around to answering some of my older questions for nearly a month now.Finding his suited picture with the same face of the t-shirt guy on here confirms he was too good to be true.I will be contacting seniorpeoplemeet and letting them know of both profiles as scammers.

The guy claiming to be James Kahn also hit on me on Match.com, over 6 months ago. He is a male model from Focus Hawaii. I ignored him. The one claiming to be David Williams said his son's name was Martins, it is in my posting. I also tried to get Match.com to acknowledge these scammers but they wouldn't. I finally learned a couple of tricks in telling if they were fake. Goggle the email address on Spokeo.com, I have had some addresses pop up with different pictures and info. Then I will check myspace, facebook, & tagged. Sometimes you have a group using the same email address on different sites and they will use different names and pics. If they want to go to chat right away, and will not email you, then most likely they are a scammer. Never give out your real info. They are trying to find out if you make a lot of money, if not it isn't worth their time. If I am trying to bait someone, I will make it sound so good they can't resist. I also check the IP address which can be found in the full header. Sometimes they use a proxy that will show up USA, but they always slip up. Never give out full details of your life. If they are not willing to meet you with in a couple of days after first contact then something is wrong. I use to tell anyone claiming to be on business overseas, to contact me when they got back, that I was not looking for a long distance relationship. This is a very good site with a lot of great info, wish I had found it sooner. Luckily, I never lost money. There is good men & women out there. You just have to weed through all the frogs to find them sometimes. Good luck.

The words & phrases used by David Williams (and all his other names) I have read from 2 other persons, both claiming to to be engineers. Alison Jones, from Georgia, got a contract to do work in Cambodia. Once there, he was attacked, mugged, robbed. The 'son' YM me telling of this occurence, and claiming they needed $3000 for the doctor to perform surgery to repair he breaks in his leg. Even sent a pic of x-ray.
The other person that claimed to be an engineer is Alfonso Alonso, out of New York, with locations of his business in Italy, UK & USA. He states that his heritage is Italian, scottish and Native American. This one was more of a challenge to figure out, but he got a contract in Nigeria! What had me stumped was that his company has a website. So he has really assumed someone's identity. He needed $62500 for Taxes on income received while in Nigeria.
I recently found the book that so many of these scammers are using, and just cut & pasting into their chats or emails - Love, Sex & The Internet. I downloaded it for $4 bucks. Well worth it.
I have been scammed once fro @ $20K. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! This was through money he claimed to need to pay taxes, airfare to get home to handle banking, etc., AND checks his 'friends' sent to me to cash & send to him. I deposited, not cashed, outright, but the banks didn't give them sufficient time to clear, so needless to say, I got stuck covering $ 12K in bad checks. My fault for being so stupid & gullible. I was TOO new to this dating site stuff & they knew it. Need I say he claimed to be in UK, but was really in Nigeria?
