The personal details of up to 2.4million Carphone Warehouse customers may have been accessed after a division of the company was hit by a cyber attack, the mobile phone retailer said today.
The attack, which was discovered on Wednesday, is likely to have included the names, addresses, birthdays and even bank details of customers.
The encrypted credit card information of up to 90,000 customers may also have been accessed, a statement released by the firm warned.
