A hoax parcel delivery scam which could leave residents £15 out of pocket is doing the rounds in Sutton again.
The hoax, perpetrated through a chain email, asks home-owners to call a premium rate number in order to retrieve a parcel.
The number 09066 61 19 11 was shut down in December 2005 after a postal scam, but has returned again and could cost upwards of £15 to call, Sutton Council said.
Premium-rate numbers usually begin with 09, 0870, 0871, 0872 and 0873.
