Nothing in the London apartment rental scam world gets by me at the moment. (Having said that, the scam website did  ).

If their travel writer can get caught - who's safe ?

Thanks for posting that, Gomer.
Seth did a wonderful job researching and explaining the scam. :D I applaud him for being willing to tell people about his own experience. He's certainly increased awareness of this scam. The website he mentions in his story, privatelondonaptletting.com, has already been researched by Michael and added to the database of fraudulent sites kept by aa419.org. Michael will be reporting it to get it suspended. The database entry for it is here: http://db.aa419.org/fakebanksview.php?key=55966

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492
