Media request - Romance victims needed

We have another media request--this one is a little different.

This media request comes from a published author (he has been checked out, and verified legitimate.)
This author is currently working on a proposal for a book about the online dating world, and would like to include romance scams. He has already done research on how the scams work--now he would like to gain an understanding of these scams from the perspective of the victims.

He is interested in interviewing both male and female victims who lost money to a romance scammer. Interviews can be conducted by phone. No photos or video will be needed, and your identity will be entirely concealed--he will change your name and identifying information for anything that goes in the book. This is a good opportunity to get the word out for the many people who don't understand what kind of a problem romance scamming is.

I just had a really nice chat with Dan. We spoke about the story and it was interesting. It feels good as this is like another way to do something against the scammers and for my recovery.

He is looking for experiences with scammers on Dating-lines in the USA.
I just want to encourage you to talk to him- it might help us all and after all - or the potential victims.

Would be glad to be interviewed as the issue has run rampant.
Actually, I was going to write a chapter in my book about that experience.
