A Chicago radio show, Business Matters, focuses this week on "The Business of Scams", including an interview with ScamWarners' warner, Jack Smith.

I'd encourage listeners to add comments on the Business Matters website to explain other kinds of scams, or comments relating their experiences. One commenter has added a good description of the Lottery Scam that I didn't mention during the interview, and there are also loan scams, religious scams, and many more, even recovery scams (by which scammers pretend to be able to recover your lost money for you, if only you start paying more fees....).

Great interview Jack

I have added a few more ways for scammers to steal from you, I didn't want my post to be too long so I didn't mention it but I dont recall anything about loan scams, with the recent flood of cedarbrook victims it may be a good topic for somebody else to add to the list
