What's new in the world of scams and ScamWarners.

This is the first time I've had an experience with a scammer. Luckily for us, we investigated him before we did anything. I've emailed the support personnel at GOIN Classifieds to alert them to this person. To us, he used the email address as [email protected]. I want to tell you how happy we are that we found this site. We haven't had this type of thing happen to us before and at first we were really happy that someone wanted to buy our antiques. Our luck, it was a scammer. He didn't get any money and I told him that our computer is monitored by federal law enforcement. He's so stupid that he ignored that email and sent another one this time from his "wife" "Mrs. Gallen". Wasn't even smart enough to use the last name. We posted this under news to let people know what he's up to now. He's searching through online classifieds looking for high dollar items (ours was $10,000 and would have a HUGE shipping bill). I'm VERY glad that someone started this forum so those of us that are legitimately trying to use online ads aren't taken in by these "people" (I use that term loosely as I have no time for those that are predators-which is what they are). Thank you!

Hi mandevilla,

You have a thread discussing this scammer here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3273
Please do respost any information on that thread. I am locking this one to keep the discussion in one place. Thanks.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492
