I know that this person wasn't an 'innocent' money launderer, but when you've passed stolen cheques through your account, you will have a tough job convincing anyone you're innocent - the person who lost money and the bank you tried not to repay - and considering you end up losing the money eventually no one has sympathy for you.

A jobless man who allowed his bank account to be used for money laundering has been jailed for 10 months.
