Police are warning people of a new car scam ........, after a car was stolen .......
Offenders have been answering car adverts and when they view the car they ask to see the spare key and swap it for a fake one that looks genuine.
They then later return and steal the car.
CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
