MONEY-TRANSFER stations in East Flatbush storefronts provided a critical link for scammers in need of a covert conduit to re-route the cash procured in online and phone call schemes to conspirators in Nigeria, Spain, Canada and Romania, federal prosecutors say

They all acted as middlemen in a wide-ranging scheme that counted more than 30 defendants, prosecutors said.

For her help, she’d take home 10-15% of each payment. Prosecutors claim she processed more than $7 million, starting in 2006.
