Detectives investigating claims that a romeo conman defrauded a number of wealthy women after meeting them through dating websites have arrested a dad-of-14.
One woman is understood to allege that she lost £60,000 after meeting a man, while another is believed to have claimed her elderly mother was defrauded out of £110,000.
A number of companies also claim to have been fraud victims, including a West Midlands luxury car hire firm which allegedly lost £200,000, while Barclays is understood to have been defrauded out of around £180,000.
