Police investigating conmen, who empty victims' bank accounts by using a telephone trick, have made arrests across the country including in Burton-on-Trent.
Four men have been held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit fraud, a woman has been arrested for money laundering and three men were also held in connection with immigration offences.
