Hi Yolanda,

I'm very sorry to learn about your plight. You shouldn't blame yourself for having trusted in people. You just happened to run into smooth criminals who are very good at deceiving people. These people certainly know how to play with human mind and emotion. You can find some closure by using your bad experience to help others avoid falling into the scammer's trap. There will be fewer people for the scammers to victimize when we get the word out. Hopefully, they will be driven out of this business when they get more busy revising their scripts and storylines than trawling the internet for more victims.

By the way, what story did he give you to induce you to pay for this "Karim Ibrahim"?

Stay safe!

ATT PATRICIA YOLANDA ,

With reference to the delivery of your package and in sequel to our phone conversation with the delivery diplomats some hours ago, we wish to bring to your notice that your package has been placed on-hold by the London Custom Authorities. When your package arrived last night to Hearthrow International Airport on transit at the customs check point, the custom scanned your Package and detected that it contains foreign currency. The customs have placed it on hold demanding charges to release your package, because there was no insurance premium certificate covering your shipment. Thereby the sum of 1950.00Pounds (One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty GBP) needs to be pay as fine, before the custom can release your package for an onward delivery.

Outstanding Charges:
Administrative.....................................950 GBP
Clearance ..........................................1000 GBP

TOTAL = ..........................................1950.00 GBP (s)

The custom said that once the payment of the fine is made, a Custom Clearance Certificate (CCC) will be issue and attach to your package. The custom clearance certificate is to prevent your package from having another stopover in another country

Kindly make the payment immediately through Western Union Money Transfer to our Delivery Diplomats information below.Western Union will be more faster and cumbersome for them to receive the payment for securing of the Custom Clearance Certificate and for onward delivery

Receiver Name: Paul Johnson

Address:London, United Kingdom

Once you make the payment please email us immediately with the transfer details or contact us at +44 7014243873 so that the diplomats can settle the custom and proceed with your delivery.

The Delivery diplomats are still at the HEARTHROW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT waiting to settle the Custom for an Onward Delivery, so kindly send the Custom charges as soon as possible and get back with the transfer details from western union.

Looking forward to your immediate reply

Regards.

Yes, delays are how they keep extracting money from victims. There is always another fee to pay to release the nonexistent money or package.

It is best to stop all communication with a scammer once you realize you are dealing with a scammer. Nothing good will come from staying in contact with him.

Hi Yolanda,

Thanks for sharing this valuable information. If it is any consolation, your experience has empowered you not to fall victim again to a scammer; and more importantly, you have risen above this experience to empower countless others from falling into the same trap. Your efforts to uncover the scammer says you are fighting back... and for this, you are no longer a "victim" but a "victor". Keep it up!

I too have been scammed by this man and he said that his name is Alexander Arvid Erik from 23 Horseshoe Lane, Bromley Cross, Bolton, UK BL79RR. His phone number was stated to be 11447045724563. He professed to be a Mechanical Engineer with Exxonmobil and also did contract work on oil platforms and was on a contract job in the North Sea. I also have a few photos that I would love to share with everyone so that they would know that he will only prey and steal. When very recently confronted, his name was given as Andre'.
Could someone let me know how to upload these photos?
Thank you and stay safe.
Twinkiesmom2

P.S. The emails that he has used with me are [email protected] and [email protected].

After further reading of above emails, the person who was named as the friend of Schwartz, Karim Ibrahim, is the one who portrayed himself to me as Alexander Arvid Erik. I hope to post his pictures here.
